Fleet electrification, planned as one project.
We start with what your cars and vans have to do, then join up vehicle selection, charging, energy, finance, drivers and rollout. One plan, built on your numbers, rather than six quotes that do not fit together.
Vehicle selection
Every vehicle matched to its real routes, payload and dwell time. Chosen on the work it has to do, not on a brochure range figure.
Whole life cost and finance
A business case that survives a board meeting, with funding structured around your company's balance sheet and the life of each asset.
Charging and depot energy
Depot, workplace and home charging, sized to what your supply can deliver at once, with load control to keep inside it.
Driver engagement and training
Drivers who understand charging, range and routines make the plan work.
Energy optimisation
Tariffs, solar, storage and managed charging, so the energy bill does not erode the saving that justified the project.
Implementation and review
Procurement, installation, grid applications and rollout, then regular checks of cost and performance against the plan.
Choosing the right vehicle for the job
The wrong vehicle is the most expensive mistake in a transition. We advise on the specification in detail, drawing on thirty years of fleet finance and eighteen of electric vehicles. Charging technology, sizes and weights, real world range and lease rates compared across a range of funders.
Make your own electricity with solar and battery storage
Solar and battery storage let a site generate and store some of the power its vehicles use, instead of buying all of it from the grid. We assess feasibility, financial returns and funding for commercial solar and battery storage. Some related services are still being developed with partners, and each is marked with its status. We do not guarantee savings or revenue.
Also available
Our focus is businesses and organisations that run cars and vans for work. We also support employer provided company cars, home start and take home vehicles, and residential solar, battery and home charging modelling.
Questions we are asked
What do you need to get started?
A rough picture is enough: the vehicles you run, how far and where they go each day, where they park overnight and, if you have one, your depot or site. We work out the rest as part of the plan.
How do you choose the right vehicle?
We match each vehicle to its real routes, payload and dwell time, and choose on the work it has to do rather than on a brochure range figure.
What if electric does not suit part of the fleet?
You hear it at the planning stage rather than after you have bought it. We do not assume electric always wins, and a mixed fleet is a sensible result for some operators.
Do you guarantee savings?
No. We do not guarantee savings or revenue. We show the figures and the assumptions behind them so you can judge the case for yourself.
Do you only work with businesses that run fleets?
Businesses and organisations that run cars and vans for work are our focus. We also support employer provided company cars, home start and take home vehicles, and residential solar, battery and home charging modelling.
